On April 20, Aida Cruises, China's domestic cruise brand, officially unveiled the product details and maiden season itineraries for its second domestically built large cruise ship, Aida·Flora, in Guangdong Province. The company also announced that ticket sales will commence on May 20. Aida·Flora is scheduled to be delivered in November of this year and will embark on its inaugural season from the Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Terminal.

During the launch event, Aida Cruises revealed the maiden voyage itinerary for Aida·Flora, a 6-day, 5-night international cruise departing from Guangzhou and calling at Hong Kong, China, and Hue (Chan May), Vietnam. The announced inaugural season program features a diverse mix of short, medium, and extended cruise itineraries, catering to both short leisure getaways and in-depth explorations. Offerings include 5-day/4-night and 6-day/5-night voyages to Hong Kong and Vietnam; an overnight stay itinerary in Hong Kong specifically tailored for the Greater Bay Area market; and the highly popular 9-day/8-night "Southeast Asian Explorer" itinerary covering sought-after destinations such as Nha Trang (Cam Ranh), Vietnam; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; and Muara, Brunei.

Notably, Aida·Flora will also debut a signature 17-day/16-night "Maritime Silk Road Discovery" voyage spanning six Southeast Asian nations. This immersive journey will take guests to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, offering a deep cultural exploration along the historic maritime silk route.

As the sister ship to China's first domestically built large cruise ship, Aida·Magic City, Aida·Flora features a more streamlined hull design and a central atrium area twice the size of its predecessor. The vessel measures 341 meters in overall length, boasts a gross tonnage of 141,900, and accommodates up to 5,232 guests across 2,130 luxurious staterooms and suites. The ship is comprehensively equipped with a variety of distinctive restaurants and bars, a grand theater, a shopping galleria, an art promenade, a fitness center, a spa, and a children's club, ensuring the vacation needs of guests across all age groups are fully met. As the second domestically built large cruise ship, Aida·Flora has undergone comprehensive upgrades in spatial design, smart technology applications, and the overall guest experience, dedicated to crafting a maritime cultural exploration journey that is "more elegant, more technologically advanced, and more distinctly Chinese" for both domestic and international travelers.

Ms. Guo Jia, head of Product and Guest Experience at Aida Cruises, stated that the official date for Aida·Flora's maiden voyage will be announced shortly. Leveraging the successful operational expertise gained from the first domestically built large cruise ship, Aida·Magic City, the company will continue to deepen the innovative "Cruise + Culture" model. Aida Cruises remains committed to attentively listening to market feedback and will present newly enhanced cruise products and experiences aboard Aida·Flora. Ms. Guo further noted that the company will continue to collaborate with travel industry partners and stakeholders under the guidance of government authorities to promote cruise culture, enabling more consumers to enjoy high-quality cruise vacations from their doorstep and fostering the high-quality development of the cruise sector within the Greater Bay Area.
