On March 10, 2026, Jinjiang Shipping and Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, for the construction of "4+4" 1,900 TEU container vessels. The two parties formally signed the newbuilding contract, marking a crucial step in optimizing and upgrading the company's shipping capacity foundation and laying a solid groundwork for high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

The construction of the "4+4" 1,900 TEU container vessels, as a key initiative by Jinjiang Shipping at the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan, represents a major fleet renewal project that the company is prioritizing.
